JEE Main 2024 : NTA Begins Registrations For Session 1 at jeemain.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on November 2 started the registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024. The official JEE Main website – jeemain.nta.nic.in – has made the application link active.

Earlier, a source close to NTA told  that the application process is expected to begin towards the end of November 1 or November 2.

Students will be given a month to fill out their JEE application form, after which the city intimation slip will be made available a little in advance. This will be followed by the release of the admit card at the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in ) three days before the exam.

The authority will conduct JEE Main exam 2024 Session 1 from January 24 to February 1. While session 2 JEE Main 2024 April will be conducted online from session 1 to 15 April.

Additionally, applicants are required to remit the application fee. It is advisable that candidates thoroughly review all academic and personal details to prevent any errors when completing the JEE Main 2024 application form.

For the JEE Main 2024 application, you will need the following essential documents:

1. Recent passport-sized scanned photo readily available.
2. Scanned copies of class 10 and 12 certificates.
3. Scanned versions of your signatures.
4. A scanned copy of your Aadhaar card, including its number.

1. Begin by visiting the official website.
2. Locate and click on the "JEE Main 2024 registration" link.
3. Fill in all the required details and click "Submit."
4. After successful registration, you will receive an email and SMS at your registered email ID and mobile number. This message will include your application form number and password. Ensure you save these registration details securely.
5. Following registration, you will be directed to the detailed application form. Here, you should provide information regarding your educational qualifications, parental details, communication and permanent addresses, and your preferred exam center.
6. Upload scanned images of your passport-size photo and signature.
7. Proceed to make the application fee payment.
8. After a successful payment, your JEE Main 2024 application form will be submitted automatically.
9. Download the completed JEE Main 2024 application form and retain a hard copy for your records. It is advisable to keep this printout until the entire admission process is concluded.
